International Applicants
In an increasingly global world of business, Babson believes that it is important to have a student population which reflects international diversity. (In fact, roughly 20% of our student body is international students!) By bringing their individual cultures and experiences into the Babson community, our student body represents a microcosm of the international business world.

Our Location

Babson is in the northeastern United States in the town of Wellesley, Massachusetts, a beautiful and safe suburb 14 miles west of Boston.

Boston is just 30 minutes away by car or public transportation. The city is known for its history, music, dance, theater, and centers of finance, medicine, and learning. More than 250,000 college students live in the Boston area. Students visit the area's museums, shops, nightclubs, and restaurants. Because Boston is home to people from many cultures, it is easy to find some of the world's best cuisine in local restaurants.

Many other interesting attractions are close to Babson as well. You can travel to several nearby cities, such as New York, which is approximately four hours away by car. Ocean beaches, lakes, and mountains for skiing and hiking can be reached in less than three hours.

Climate

We have four distinct seasons: fall, winter, spring, and summer. There is no rainy or dry season; the normal precipitation for each month is approximately three inches (7.5 cm). In the winter, we often get snow instead of rain, due to the drop in temperature. The average temperatures for each season are:

Fall (September, October, November):
40 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit (5 to 20 degrees Celsius)

Winter (December, January, February):
20 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit (-6 to 5 degrees Celsius)

Spring (March, April, May):
30 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit (-1 to 15 degrees Celsius)

Summer (June, July, August):
65 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit (18 to 32 degrees Celsius)
