SAT or ACT
Babson requires all applicants to submit scores from standardized tests. Applicants must take the College Board Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) or the American College Testing Program (ACT) exam with the optional writing portion.
SAT II
SAT II tests are not required for admission or placement. If you would like to take these exams it is recommended that you take the SAT II in mathematics (Level I or IIC).
TOEFL
Applicants whose native language is not English must submit results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The admission committee will look at the TOEFL score in place of the Critical Reading SAT I or the ACT English. We recommend a minimum score of 600/250/100 (paper/computer/internet based testing) to be considered for admission to Babson. While we typically do not waive this requirement, we will do so for students who have earned a score of 600 or higher on the Critical Reading portion of the SAT. All other students must complete the requirement. Institutional TOEFL results, while helpful, do not satisfy the Babson requirement. The admission office must receive standardized test scores directly from the Educational Testing Service (ETS) and TOEFL to be considered official. Babson's reporting code is 3075.
