Disability Services

Services for students with learning differences, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), sensory impairments, physical disabilities, and medical and psychological conditions are managed by the Manager of Disability Services through Academic Services in Hollister Hall.   Students needing services are responsible for identifying themselves and for providing appropriate and current documentation of their disability and need for accommodations.  All eligible students are strongly encouraged to contact the Manager as early in their academic career as possible.  For more detailed information, please visit the Disability Services Web site.

Available services are provided on an individual basis and may include, but are not limited to, academic
accommodations such as:

  • extended time for testing
  • separate locations for testing
  • assistance with note taking
  • permission to tape-record lectures
  • faculty notification
  • use of a laptop for essay exams
  • academic advising
  • assistance with adaptive technology
  • assistance with accessibility issues

Students with disabilities are a valued part of the Babson Community.  For more information, please contact Rob Major, Associate Dean of Foundation Services, at 781-239-5246.
