Welcome to the New Transfers Web Page
Congratulations & Welcome to Babson!
You are joining a vibrant and engaging community when you enroll at Babson this coming fall. I will be your academic advisor during your transition to Babson. I will work with you to complete the transfer credit process and to acclimate you to the Babson community.
A couple important notes as you prepare to join Babson:
- New Student Orientation will begin on Thursday, August 28th, 2008.
- Classes will begin on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008.
- Your course schedule for fall 2008 will be based on your transfer credits. You will not need to select your courses. I will create a schedule for you that factors in the courses you have already taken, the structure of our curriculum and course availability for the Fall 2008 semester. You will be able to see your schedule online shortly before you arrive on-campus for orientation.
- Please submit to Babson any course descriptions and syllabi for courses you have taken elsewhere.
- Please be sure to request an official transcript be sent from your previous institution(s) to Babson. An official transcript is required to complete the credit transfer process.
I look forward to meeting you and working with you next fall.

Your Fellow Students...
Babson Transfer Students Produce and Participate in new spin on "The Apprentice" reality show entitled "CEO Intern".
Prescott Paulin '08, who transferred to Babson in January 2005, has produced a new reality show "CEO Intern". The show follows 5 students as they serve as CEO of an existing company for eight weeks during the summer of 2008.
Three 3 students from Babson (including another recent transfer student Bentzion Chudnovskiy '08) will join a student from Harvard and one from Olin College of Engineering. The team of students will serve jointly as CEO -- working with each other, rather than being pitted against each other.
The show is currently seeking a TV deal, but was featured in May in the Business section of The Boston Globe. Click here to read more about the show.
