Community service is an integral part of life in and out of the classroom at Babson. Many students come to Babson with significant volunteer experience. All first-year students will work with a service project during their Foundation Management Experience (FME) course. At the end of FME, profits generated by the student-run businesses are then donated to the service project associated with each student group.
The Bernon Center for Public Service is a volunteer organization on campus that works with various national and local community service agencies to provide more than 50 one-time and ongoing volunteer opportunities for Babson students, alumni, and staff. The list of agencies inlcudes the American Cancer Society, the Home for Little Wanderers, the Pine Street Inn, and Habitat for Humanity.
